Healthy Crock Pot California Chicken

    Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) chicken (quartered)
    1 cup orange juice
    1/3 cup chili sauce
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    1 tablespoon molasses
    1 teaspoon dry mustard
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
    2 tablespoons chopped green peppers
    3 medium oranges (peeled and slices separated; alternatively, 13 ½ oz. canned mandarin oranges)

  3. Preparation Instructions:

    Place the chicken inside the crock pot.

    In a mixing bowl, whisk together orange juice, chili sauce, soy sauce, molasses, mustard, and garlic salt. Pour over the top of the chicken.

    Cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours.

    Pour the green peppers and oranges into the crock pot and stir in. Cook for an additional half hour.
