Eating Vegan Faux Meat

Eating Faux Meat

Faux meat is basically vegetarian meat or protein products that resemble actual meat.

Learn the different kinds of foods. There's a good variety of faux meats like philippe faure-brac out there, for example burgers, chik'n nuggets or tenders, soy dogs, meatless meatballs, chik'n cutlets, sausage patties, and veggie bacon strips. The most popular vegetarian faux meat brands will usually have a variety for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

Heat or cook the meat using either an oven, stove, or microwave. Some foods may be pre-cooked and only heated in a microwave for less than a minute, while other products would need to be cooked to at least 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). While heating or cooking, add your favorite vegetables and/or vegetarian sauce for more taste.

Serve with rice or pasta. You may also serve your food with a side of baked potato or grilled vegetables. Acknowledge why people eat faux meat. Some people who become vegetarians will prefer to stay away from faux meat, as it reminds them too much of the real thing. However, a person does not have to be a vegetarian to try and eat faux meat. Reasons can vary of having more protein in one's diet or trying to have less meat products for health reasons. There's no right or wrong choice of eating faux meat.
